Services : Repair
All
hardware returned to KCell will undergo full restoration of functionality
including:
- Applying any modifications
required to bring the unit up to the applicable current revision
levels
- Cleaning
- Cosmetic work
- Full functionality
and safety test
- Calibration if
required
- QA & Soak
- Packing and storage
- Dispatch
to customers’ designated locations and Service Partners
Repair
Centre Contracts will provide the following performance guarantees:
- 10 working days turnaround of
equipment repairs or a suitable replacement will be made available
- All equipment will be inspected,
the fault diagnosed and repaired wherever possible
- All equipment will be modified
to the latest known standard and KCell will endeavour to ensure
that OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) modification notices
are communicated to KCell
- All equipment will be cleaned
to general cosmetic standard
- All equipment will be passed through
a soak (simulated operational/functional routine) and test facility
of no less than 48hrs
- All repairs will be made with
new or reconditioned components to ensure MTBFs (Mean Time Between
Failure) are maintained
- All equipment returned to the
customer and found to have failed without being installed (Dead
On Arrival) at the client’s premises will be repaired FOC (Free
of Charge)
- Statistical information from repairs
will be used to “improve” the MTBFs of equipment wherever possible
by implementing engineering modifications
